28 September 2004 I have just uploaded a whole bunch of new pictures. So please take a look for yourself, you never know, you may even be there, which would be exciting, or something.
Things are OK down here, where I am now, which is good, Nicola seems to be enjoying having her tea cooked for her. So at least I have one useful function. Add Comment |
18 September 2004 That was some night. Thank you to all who attended, and purchased me copious quantities of alcohol.
Somehow Keith, James and I ended up in Teviot on our way home last night, extending our evening by quite a few hours. It seemed like a good idea at the time, now I am not quite so sure. Add Comment |
14 September 2004 I was just browsing my web logs (as I seem to do), and I came across and interesting Yahoo search string that came up with my site. None of the 32 results seem to match the request of "Andrew+David+Smith" + MP + mp + Dr + doctor + prof + blair + Orchestral + Postgraduate. Fortunately I am not the former pensions minister, MP for Oxford East, who resigned from the cabinet last week. I wonder who it was that thought that I might have been by clicking the link to my site, its a pity they never left a comment. Still if they ever return they can find information on the MP by looking at the publicwhip.org.uk and andrewsmithmp.org.uk. There now that wasn't difficult was it.
Well, I think that this site is going to need a change of text very soon, given that I am moving south of the border, a thing indeed you might say, and you may even be right. See some of you on Friday, I hope my liver can take it. Add Comment |
12 September 2004 At last a quiz again, although it may be my last for a while at Drouthy's. Still we managed to lose which wasn't so good.
Just over a week until my move South which is exciting. I am planning a wee visit to a hostelry for me and a few friends on Friday, so that should be fun providing there is a reasonable turnout. Add Comment |
06 September 2004 Hello. I am back home now and feeling slightly more human again, which is good, after a rather lengthy and delayed flight on Zoom Airlines, the cludgies werenae working right, so we had to wait in Vancouver Airport for 4 hours longer than we had expected. Despite that, I had a good time. Photos will be appearing soon, after they come back from the developers (I ain't paying for an hour service).
We never did finish the trail that we started, which was a pity since I think it might have been very nice indeed (temperate rainforest, beach and cliff top views), the weather was somewhat against us. Anyway I will tell any interested parties the story when I see them. Add Comment |
