"Its Christmas Day, you can't get sore, your fellow man you must adore there is time to rob him all the more the other 364" Tom Lehrer. Indeed it is Christmas, and festive greetings to you all. Nic and I have decorated our flat in a festive way, with the inclusion of some festive foliage (a necessary adornment, for putting presents under). I hope you all have a good time, I know I will. I am cooking and very good it will be too. Add Comment |
13 December 2004 Tomorrow I will be home all by myself, awwwwwwwww! What a wee shame, or something like that. Nicola is going off to a conference in Reading PopGroup 2004 I am sure it will be really exciting and that, of course it will Nicola is speaking on Thursday at 10.10am, so I would advise any of you who might be in the Reading area or if you even just have a desire to hear a great oration to get yourselves down there, for what I am sure will be a spectacular 15 minutes. I know I have heard it about 8 times already. A pdf with her abstract in can be found on the website.
So I don't know what I will be doing tomorrow evening, probably adding more silliness to this site, a new page for the things section is currently under construction, hopefully it will be completed before Christmas for the general entertainment and excitment of all. Add Comment |
10 December 2004 Hello, well, it seems that it is now a few days into December, a fact that may not surprise many of you. Chritsmas lights have now been put up in our flat and very festive it is too. Indeed well not long until my birthday now although it is slightly longer to Christmas. Not much to report, uneventful week at work, probably not surprising given the exciting task that is. Got a touch of a cold, I will be attending to some whisky later on to see if it will knock it back. Add Comment |
03 December 2004 Well, it seems I have managed to complete 5 days at work, I think that I may be glad of the weekend, perhaps a chance not to get up before 7am. Although it could be, much worse I suppose, I might have to commute a vast distance or something, I think that would not be at all good. Add Comment |
